Claudia Waitman is the driving force behind Junction International - a top-notch language consulting business offering a broad range of solutions in over 100 languages, including translation, website globalization, typesetting and desktop publishing, and multicultural brand management including cultural evaluation and adaptation, and multilingual copywriting.

With nearly 15 years of industry know-how, Claudia has had first-hand experience in the implementation of translation solutions and multilingual communications strategies for many corporations, large and small, in a variety of industries including marketing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, publishing, software, business, and legal. Claudia has helped businesses and organizations expand their market opportunities and diversify their reach - both in the U.S. and abroad.

Originally from Argentina, Claudia graduated as a Certified Public Translator in Spanish and started her first company offering translation and corporate language instruction in her hometown of Córdoba. In the year 2000, she attended a language industry conference in the US and decided to leave her life in Argentina and give the big apple a try.

Before establishing Junction International, Claudia lived in New York where she was vice president of business development of a reputable translation company. During almost eight years, Claudia oversaw all aspects of production, client relations, and sales. She was also a key member of the management team and instrumental in the company's growth and positioning in the market.

While living in New York, Claudia became involved with the translation program at the Center for Foreign Languages and Translation at New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and taught legal translation to international students trying to break into the translation industry.

Born in a family of serial entrepreneurs and inspired by her meticulous father, Claudia decided to leave New York in pursuit of her own business, hoping to add value and expertise to a whole new set of potential clients.

Headquartered in West Palm Beach and with sales and production staff in New York, Spain, and Argentina, Junction International is well positioned to help companies and organizations communicate across the cultural divide. With a staff of 7 and over 2000 freelancers worldwide, Junction International is prepared to successfully meet the needs of the most exacting and specialized clientele.

She has lived in Argentina and Israel, and has traveled extensively in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Today her entrepreneurial and multitasking skills include the exciting journey of motherhood. She has two brilliantly adorable toddlers. Playing with her kids, reading, watching good movies, and planning family vacations with her husband, are among her favorite interests outside of the office.
